WHO WE ARE

The Heat Network is made up of officers from social housing providers, both housing associations and local authorities, with an interest in district and communal heating.  In some social housing providers, district/ communal heating may be a designated role; in others it may rest with other departments.   Members often have experience of district/communal heating and are able to contribute to the guidance documents developed by the group.

Our members include:

A2Dominion | London Borough of Camden | Clarion Housing | Hyde Group | L&Q

Notting Hill Genesis | Octavia Housing | Peabody | Southern Housing Group | Swan Housing

The Guinness Partnership | Vivid Homes | Worthing Homes

WHAT DO WE DO?

As well as sharing ideas among ourselves, we want to share what we've learnt with other social housing providers too.  We've developed some short guidance documents to get colleagues started in the sector.  While these shouldn't replace legal or technical expert advice, they give some straight-forward principles to help you on your heat network journey.

WHEN DO WE MEET?

We meet 3 or 4 times a year to discuss specific district/communal heat issues.  Each meeting is focused on a different topic or topics.  External experts are sometimes invited to attend by the group where we need specific expert input or want to learn about something new.
